What is Dermaplaning?
Dermaplaning is a skin resurfacing procedure that gently removes the outer most layer of dead skin cells and peach fuzz on the face. The immediate result is fresh, bright, and smoother skin. This treatment is recommended for all skin types. Dermaplaning is when a special blade, known as a dermatome, is used to remove the top layers of the skin in order to treat acne scarring, hyperpigmentation, sun damage, remove vellus hair (peach fuzz), as well as improve skin tone and texture.
Dermaplaning is great on its own or can be done immediately before a chemical peel as it allows the peel to work more effectively. By removing the outer layer of dead skin, the peel may be applied more evenly for a more dramatic result.

Dermaplaning Benefits
You can expect your skin to be smoother and more radiant than ever before. We use gentle scraping techniques which allow us to not only remove the dead cells on the top layer of the skin that cause unwanted hair or blemishes but we also extract harmful chemicals from your face so you're left with a rejuvenated complexion! It is a relatively low-risk procedure where you are able to see cosmetic improvements immediately. It doesn’t require any downtime and you don’t need multiple procedures to see the results.
